HF Aquaculture
Our business was established in 2018 by Chemical Engineer Faruk COŞKUN, who has contributed greatly to the development of the aquaculture sector in Turkey. Faruk COŞKUN has worked in the Aquaculture Branch Directorates within the Ministry of Agriculture and has transferred his experiences to the aquaculture sector for many years as the founding president of the Central Union of Aquaculture. Rainbow trout is produced in our enterprise located in Ören neighbourhood Eskigacak. In our enterprise, İlker COŞKUN, a well-known aquaculture engineer with his knowledge and experience in the aquaculture sector, has been continuing his duty as general manager since the establishment of our facility. In 2023, Aquaculture Engineer Hava ŞİMŞEK joined our 13-person working staff as production chief. Our aim is to contribute to the national economy with an annual capacity of 3,200,000 fry and 370 tonnes/year portion trout as HF Aquaculture.

Rainbow Trout General information
Rainbow Trout
Rainbow trout has attracted great interest in the inland waters of our country due to its breeding advantages. Rainbow trout production is nowadays carried out by integrated production facilities compared to the years when the province started. Rainbow trout has been transformed into value-added products and has taken its place in the world market with stuffed, filleted and smoked varieties.
Rainbow trout ranks 1st among the important species cultivated in inland waters in Turkey in 2023 with a production of 154,991 tonnes/year (TÜİK, 2023).
Among the regions where rainbow trout is produced in Turkey, the important contribution share belongs to the trout enterprises located in Seydikemer Ören Çay eye in Muğla.
Production Facility
Our trout production facility located in Eskigacak, Ören neighbourhood, is established on approximately 10 decares of forest land. In our facility, 3.200.000 fry and 370 tonnes of portion rainbow trout are produced annually and we make valuable contributions to the national economy with this capacity.
